Toy Story Drink For Kids | Blue Bo Lemonade

Toy Story Drink For Kids | Blue Bo Lemonade

Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 5 is finally here, and it’s time to celebrate with a fun kid-friendly drink.

If you are looking for an easy summer drink recipe that is colorful, sweet, fizzy, and kid-friendly, this Blue Bo Lemonade is it.

Made with lemonade mix, blue soda, cream soda, and fresh watermelon cubes, this bright blue lemonade comes together in just a few minutes and is perfect for cookouts, birthday parties, baby showers, or hot summer afternoons.

One of the best things about this recipe is how customizable it is. You can make it sweeter, more tart, or even turn it into a large batch party punch for entertaining.

This drink’s name is a fun play on one of our favorite characters in this fourth installment, Bo Peep. Bo is fierce. Bo is reinvented. Bo is an amazing superwoman.

During my visit to Pixar’s headquarters, we learned why Bo Peep was essential to Toy Story 4 and a major reason this sequel was made.

How to make Blue Bo Lemonade

If you’re planning on hosting a Toy Story party this summer for a birthday or just for fun, this blue lemonade would be a great themed drink to add to your menu.

I used Toy Story cups I ordered off Etsy to give our drink a feel, but you don’t need them to create this Toy Story drink.

I’m sharing the recipe for creating this blue lemonade below.

Toy Story Drink

What Is Blue Bo Lemonade?

Blue Bo Lemonade is an inspired-theme Toy Story fizzy lemonade drink made by combining lemonade mix with blue soda and cream soda instead of water.

The result is a creamy, citrusy blue drink with a fun candy-like flavor and bright color.

Fresh watermelon cubes add a refreshing finish, making this drink perfect for summer gatherings.

Why You’ll Love This Blue Lemonade Recipe

  • Easy to make in less than 5 minutes
  • Great for kids and adults
  • Perfect for summer parties and cookouts
  • Made with simple ingredients
  • Bright blue color makes it fun for birthdays and celebrations
  • Easy to make into a party punch

Tips For The Best Party Punch

  • Chill the sodas before mixing so the punch stays cold longer.
  • Add the ice just before serving to keep the soda fizzy.
  • Freeze watermelon cubes ahead of time to help keep the punch cold without watering it down.
  • Add fresh blueberries or raspberries for an extra colorful summer drink.
  • For a stronger lemonade flavor, add an extra 1-2 tablespoons of lemonade mix.

Can I Make This Into An Alcoholic Party Punch?

Yes. For an adult party version, add:

  • vodka
  • coconut rum
  • whipped cream vodka
  • blue curaçao

Start with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of alcohol per batch and adjust to taste.

What Does Blue Bo Lemonade Taste Like?

This drink tastes sweet, citrusy, creamy, and fizzy with a fruity blue raspberry-style flavor.

Can I Make This Ahead Of Time?

You can prep the watermelon ahead of time, but mix the soda right before serving to keep the drink carbonated.

What Blue Soda Works Best?

Any blue-colored soda works well. I used blue Faygo, but you can use your favorite brand of blue soda.

Can I Make This Into A Party Punch?

Yes. Multiply the ingredients and serve in a large drink dispenser or punch bowl for parties and cookouts.

Is This Drink Non-Alcoholic?

Yes. This recipe is completely kid-friendly and alcohol-free.

Oh no! LOL You can add a little blue food coloring to it. I try not to use food coloring in drinks, but that’s an option. Also, what kind of blue soda or drink did you use? Maybe go for a darker blue soda. Another option is adding a little bit of blue syrup instead of using blue food coloring.
